Privacy notice

How AceBop handles information when you use the website.

Last updated: 10 October 2026. This notice describes the current AceBop website. It should be reviewed if we add accounts, analytics, advertising, contact forms or other services.

Information stored on your device

AceBop stores game progress, achievements, selected themes and English question rotation information in your browser's localStorage. These records stay in that browser and are not intentionally uploaded to AceBop by the current game code.

Information involved in delivering the website

When you visit a website, technical information such as your IP address, browser details and requested pages may be processed by its hosting and security infrastructure. AceBop uses Cloudflare to serve the website. Cloudflare may process technical data and use security-related technologies under its own policies.

Accounts, advertising and analytics

The current learning activities do not request children's names, email addresses or accounts. AceBop does not intentionally embed advertising trackers or third-party analytics in the current release.

Children and parents

AceBop is intended for primary-age learners. Parents and teachers can help children use the site safely. We aim to minimise information collected from children and will assess applicable UK data protection and children's privacy requirements before introducing new features.

Your choices

You can clear locally saved progress and theme preferences through your browser's site-data controls. Doing so may permanently remove your scores and settings from that device. You can also disable local storage, although some features may not remember your progress.

Questions and updates

We will update this notice when the website's data practices change. A dedicated privacy contact address has not yet been published; the site operator should add verified contact and controller details before treating this notice as final for a public launch.
